24. Japanese 100 series

The 100 series is the Japan`s second generation high speed train and had been used for around 30 years.  It was first put into service in the 1984 to replace the 0 series train and operated on the Tokaido Shinkansen and Sanyo Shinkansen high-speed lines with the maximum speed of 220 km/h.  The train had been refurbished between 2000 to 2004, and had withdrawn from service on 16 March, 2012.  What do you think about this train? What difference do you find on the newer generation`s Shinkansens and this series of Shinkansens?
