13. Korean KTX-I

The Korea KTX had started it service in 2004, connecting Soul, Mokpo and Busan. KTX is currently operating by both KGV-1 and KGV-2.  The KGV-1 is derived from France TGV-R, with the highest speed of 305km/h.  Same as other TGV family members, the KGV-I is a Push–pull train, that consists of two traction heads.  A set of Jacobs bogies that articulated cars, it can lower the weight of the trainand the noise generated in the curve.

Why do you think Korea needs to build the high speed railway?
